The cuisine of Fair Play offers fine dining, casual lunches, pizza nights, a bakery and hearty breakfasts.  Whether you are planning a day trip with wine tasting, a quick romantic getaway or a peaceful extended vacation in the foothills, you'll find Fair Play offers a variety of dining experiences that will satisfy everyone- from the connoisseur to those who'd prefer a quick bite.  Just remember, however you decide to dine, you'll be enjoying yourself in wine country- with rolling hills, swaying pines and great views; perfectly punctuated with glorious grape vines.

Bocconato Trattoria is a destination restaurant in Fair Play wine country.  Featuring cuisine from northern Italy, our philosophy is simple- seasonal, organic and fresh ingredients make the best food- we support our local farmers while offering customers with discriminating tastes some of the best artisanal products from Italy.  Our pastas are made fresh, our desserts are homemade and our meats are free-range and hormone free.  We offer a five course menu that includes antipasti, salad, pasta, meats and dessert.  Eat as much or as little as you'd like, but know that Chef Giovanni designs the menu for you......an incredible and unique dining adventure, but a memorable one!  If you need just a bite of food while wine tasting, stop in for one course and a glass of wine, we do that, too!  Join us each Monday for our community table with the locals- mingle with the Fair Play crowd and enjoy our no corkage night!  Our wine list includes both local and Italian wines.  Vegetarians and vegans welcome.

Ploughman's Lunch Menu served every Saturday and Sunday with seasonal specials. For everyday Stocked Deli Case provides fixins for wine country munchies/picnics to enjoy on our deck  taking in a spectacular panorama of the Wine country and beyond. Friday Night Wood-Fired Oven Pizza - late April through mid-October reservations required (call starting the Monday morning of the week you wish to attend).
